
Now this was an interesting find. This appears to be a receipt for some carpet. The date of the receipt... May 23rd, 1845. The receipt is made out to a Mr. Geroge A. Brown and appears to be for $17.20. I know you should keep your receipts just in case, but keeping the receipt for 160 years might be a little excessive.

$17.20 in 1845? George A Brown must have been a rich guy... thats was three months pay for a normal worker...
